Québec will be present at the PDAC annual convention

Charlotte Grenier
Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles

As in past years, Québec will have a booth at the 2015 convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) in Toronto… and there will be no shortage of action!

First, the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles will take the opportunity to release the results of two new surveys of indicator minerals and two geophysical surveys carried out in the area covered by the Plan Nord (see the article on this topic).

Representatives of the Plan Nord will also be available in the booth to talk to visitors about Québec’s major northern development project and answer their questions. The Plan Nord will clearly be one of the key focuses in Toronto, and the convention program even includes a presentation session on the Plan (Monday, March 2, 9:10 a.m., Room 715: Quebec and Plan Nord: Five years later).

The Québec booth will also act as a promotional hub. The Minister for Mines, Luc Blanchette, will be present to meet and talk with participants. He will speak on Monday, March 2 at 11 a.m., on the theme of mine development.

The Québec government will also take the opportunity offered by the PDAC convention to organize a networking activity bringing together around forty Québec exploration firms and potential investors from a range of backgrounds.

We look forward to meeting you at the Québec booth, number 222-223, in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 1 to 4, 2015.
