Call for proposals for a hotel establishment at Lac MékinacThe Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles (MERN) is launching a Call for Proposals for the allocation of a commercial vacation site on lands in the domain of the State, for a hotel establishment at Lac Mékinac in the Mauricie region. The site is situated in the municipality of Trois-Rives, in the Mékinac RCM.

The project envisaged by the MERN is a four-star hotel establishment that must fit into an emerging niche in the tourism industry, such as outdoor activity, adventure tourism or ecotourism. The bidder will be responsible for construction, improvement and maintenance of the access road.

Filing of proposals

Every legal person established for a private interest, general partnership, limited partnership or undeclared partnership, and every natural person aged 18 or over who operates an individual enterprise, may submit a proposal before 4:30 p.m. on October 2, 2018, by registered mail or regular mail, or in person at the offices of the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles in Mauricie-Lanaudière, between 8:30 a.m. and midday and between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The MERN reserves the right not to accept any proposal, and to gather any additional information that may be required to analyze the proposals.
