Foreign visitors
First, check to see if you have permission to travel to Canada. Then, apply for a visitor visa by visiting the Government of Canada’s website .
If you need to provide a formal letter of invitation to obtain a visa, you must first register for the Québec Mines + Energie congress. It is your responsibility to contact the congress organizers to request an official letter of invitation with the exact dates of your trip.
The letter of invitation is not a financial obligation for organizers; all costs associated with attending the congress are the sole responsibility of the registrant.
We recommend that you apply for your visa as soon as possible, as it can take several weeks to process.
The decision on whether or not to issue a visa is the responsibility of the Government of Canada. Québec Mines + Énergie cannot interfere in the process.
Visit the Government of Canada website for more information on foreign visitor requirements.
