François Leclerc

While studying at the UQAM, François Leclerc obtained a B.Sc. in resource geology and an M.Sc. in Earth sciences, before getting his Ph.D. in Earth sciences at the INRS. His studies on the geology of Archaean greenstone belts were carried out as part of the Projet Grand-Nord and TGI-3 in partnership with the MRNF and the GSC. In 2008, he joined Géologie Québec as project manager for the mapping of the Chapais-Chibougamau region. He also contributed to the development of the second prototype of the Bulletin géologiQUE in 2016 and has been coordinating its publication since 2018.
