Enzo Caraballo

Université Laval

Enzo Caraballo is a PhD student at Université Laval in Québec (Canada). He is working on the trace element composition of chalcopyrite and its potential as an indicator mineral for mineral exploration. He graduated as a geological engineer from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and obtained a Master’s degree from the Université Savoie-Mont Blanc (France). His research interests include mineral chemistry, metallogeny, multivariate statistical analysis and machine learning applied to mineral exploration. He taught mineralogy and petrology for 7 years at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He is currently working as a research professional in the Microanalysis Laboratory at Université Laval in Québec.
