Arnaud Back

Arnaud Back holds an engineering degree in Geology from Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle and is completing a PhD in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at UQAC. His research project focuses on automated mineral recognition using machine learning. Arnaud was awarded the Mineralogical Association of Canada (MAC) travel grant to present his project in France at IAMG 2024 and received the Computer & Geosciences research grant.
