Come and explore the wonderful world of geoscience and minerals, learn about mining sector innovations and discover the importance of mining in your everyday life!

Québec Mines Discovery offers a broad range of interactive, easy to understand conferences and activities that will allow visitors, both young and old, to discover the Earth sciences and today’s mining sector.

If you are interested in mine and space exploration, or are passionate about history, then you will be well-served by the 2017 edition of Québec Mines Discovery. Based on the theme “Exploring Time and Space”, it will take you on a voyage of discovery through 175 years of development of the country’s oldest scientific organization, the Geological Survey of Canada. You will also have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the Canadian Space Agency and see its “Rover”, a small vehicle originally designed for use in outer space, but which could easily be used for mine exploration too!
