Québec Mines Discovery welcomes young people from the Aboriginal communities
The 2017 Québec Mines Congress is presenting the Salon M4S, an educational exhibition that seeks to publicize the Earth sciences and the mining sector today. Nearly 2,000 elementary and secondary school students will satisfy their curiosity about this all-too-often neglected universe.
Québec Mines Discovery will host a group of 16 Innu and Naskapis students from Schefferville and Sept-Îles area, from the Naskapis, Matimekush-Lac John, Kawawachikamach, Maliotenam and Uashat communities. They will participate in a geoscientific and cultural experience during their visit to Québec City.
